Why higher odds mean more picks — and lower odds of winning
This part matters, and we want to be upfront about it: the higher the target odds you ask for, the more picks (legs) the generator needs to combine to reach that number. And every extra leg you add works against you mathematically — because every single leg has to win for the whole bet to pay out.
A 1.50x target might only need one or two picks, each individually very likely to happen. A 20x or 50x target needs many more legs stacked together — and even if each individual pick is a good, high-probability selection on its own, the combined probability of all of them landing together drops fast with every leg you add. That’s simple probability, not a flaw in the model: it’s true of every accumulator, on every site, with every provider.
So think of the target odds you choose as a trade-off, not a shortcut: lower targets = fewer legs = higher real chance of winning. Higher targets = more legs = a bigger potential payout, but a real, mathematically lower chance of getting there.
