Betting Strategies for
OddsFactoryAI Pulse
Two ways to stake a Pulse feed that always hovers around evens (2.00x): the simple, steady way, and the high-variance way. Neither one changes the odds — they only change how the risk is distributed across your picks.
Pulse publishes a new pick roughly every 1.5–3 hours, each one priced right around evens (2.00x). What you do with that pick — how much you stake, and what you do with the winnings — is entirely up to you. Below are the two most common, well-established staking approaches, walked through using the last 6 settled Pulse picks exactly as they happened, live from our own track record.
1. Flat Betting (Flat Staking)
The same fixed stake — 1 unit — on every single pick, regardless of what happened on the pick before it. It’s the most widely used, and most widely recommended, bankroll management method in sports betting: simple, predictable, and it protects you from a losing streak snowballing into something bigger than any one bet was ever supposed to cost you.
| # | Date | Time (UTC) | Odds | Result | Stake | P/L | Cumulative |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 30.08.2026 | 01:30–03:20 UTC | 2.04x | LOST | 1.00u | -1.00u | -1.00u |
| 2 | 30.08.2026 | 10:30–12:20 UTC | 2.01x | WON | 1.00u | +1.01u | +0.01u |
| 3 | 30.08.2026 | 13:00–14:50 UTC | 1.97x | LOST | 1.00u | -1.00u | -0.99u |
| 4 | 30.08.2026 | 15:00–16:50 UTC | 2.00x | WON | 1.00u | +1.00u | +0.01u |
| 5 | 30.08.2026 | 17:00–18:50 UTC | 2.12x | WON | 1.00u | +1.12u | +1.13u |
| 6 | 30.08.2026 | 19:00–20:50 UTC | 2.03x | LOST | 1.00u | -1.00u | +0.13u |
In this example, Flat Betting finished ahead: +0.13u after 6 picks (3W–3L) — one fixed 1-unit stake every time, so no single leg could ever wipe out the others.
2. Parlay Roll (“Let It Ride”)
Start with 1 unit. If the pick wins, you let the entire amount — stake plus winnings — ride onto the next pick, instead of withdrawing the profit. If that one wins too, the whole thing rides again onto the pick after it, and so on. A loss at any point in the chain wipes out everything accumulated in that roll — you go back to zero and start the next roll fresh, at 1 unit.
Also known in the industry as the “Parlay betting system” or “Pyramiding”. Don’t confuse it with Martingale: Martingale raises the stake after a loss to try to recover it. Parlay Roll raises the stake after a win, to capitalize on a hot run.
| Leg | Date | Time (UTC) | Odds | Result | Riding on | After |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 30.08.2026 | 01:30–03:20 UTC | 2.04x | LOST | 1.00u | 0.00u |
| Leg | Date | Time (UTC) | Odds | Result | Riding on | After |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 30.08.2026 | 10:30–12:20 UTC | 2.01x | WON | 1.00u | 2.01u |
| 2 | 30.08.2026 | 13:00–14:50 UTC | 1.97x | LOST | 2.01u | 0.00u |
| Leg | Date | Time (UTC) | Odds | Result | Riding on | After |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 30.08.2026 | 15:00–16:50 UTC | 2.00x | WON | 1.00u | 2.00u |
| 2 | 30.08.2026 | 17:00–18:50 UTC | 2.12x | WON | 2.00u | 4.24u |
| 3 | 30.08.2026 | 19:00–20:50 UTC | 2.03x | LOST | 4.24u | 0.00u |
In this example, 3 of 3 rolls busted, for a realized -3.00u. The longest run survived 2 consecutive wins in a row before a roll ended.
Hypothetical scenario — for illustration only
Everything below is a constructed example, not a real Pulse result — every leg is priced at a flat, illustrative 2.00x so the arithmetic is easy to follow. It exists purely to show what the math looks like when a streak runs longer than the live example above happened to show.
This is not a typical or expected outcome, and it is not a prediction. The real, live example above — pulled straight from our settled track record — is what actually happened.
Flat Betting — a mostly-winning stretch
Same rules as before, 1 unit every time — just with 5 wins and 1 loss this time instead of the live example’s 3–3 split.
| Pick | Odds | Result | Stake | P/L | Cumulative |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2.00x | WON | 1.00u | +1.00u | +1.00u |
| 2 | 2.00x | LOST | 1.00u | -1.00u | +0.00u |
| 3 | 2.00x | WON | 1.00u | +1.00u | +1.00u |
| 4 | 2.00x | WON | 1.00u | +1.00u | +2.00u |
| 5 | 2.00x | WON | 1.00u | +1.00u | +3.00u |
| 6 | 2.00x | WON | 1.00u | +1.00u | +4.00u |
Parlay Roll — three ways a roll can go
Three separate, constructed rolls — not a continuation of each other — showing a short streak where cashing out is worth considering, a longer one, and the point this piece keeps coming back to: a loss at any point erases the whole thing, no matter how long the streak was.
| Leg | Odds | Result | Riding on | After |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2.00x | WON | 1.00u | 2.00u |
| 2 | 2.00x | WON | 2.00u | 4.00u |
| 3 | 2.00x | WON | 4.00u | 8.00u |
After 3 straight wins the roll is worth 8.00u on paper, riding on a single 4th result. This is a natural point to consider cashing out — banking +7.00u of realized profit — instead of letting the full 8.00u ride again. (Illustrative odds of stringing together 3 straight wins at ~evens: ~12.5%.)
| Leg | Odds | Result | Riding on | After |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2.00x | WON | 1.00u | 2.00u |
| 2 | 2.00x | WON | 2.00u | 4.00u |
| 3 | 2.00x | WON | 4.00u | 8.00u |
| 4 | 2.00x | WON | 8.00u | 16.00u |
| 5 | 2.00x | WON | 16.00u | 32.00u |
| 6 | 2.00x | WON | 32.00u | 64.00u |
Six straight wins compounds a 1u stake into 64.00u on paper — none of it realized until it’s cashed out or it busts. (Illustrative odds of reaching this point at ~evens: ~1.6% — already rare.)
| Leg | Odds | Result | Riding on | After |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2.00x | WON | 1.00u | 2.00u |
| 2 | 2.00x | WON | 2.00u | 4.00u |
| 3 | 2.00x | WON | 4.00u | 8.00u |
| 4 | 2.00x | WON | 8.00u | 16.00u |
| 5 | 2.00x | WON | 16.00u | 32.00u |
| 6 | 2.00x | WON | 32.00u | 64.00u |
| 7 | 2.00x | WON | 64.00u | 128.00u |
| 8 | 2.00x | WON | 128.00u | 256.00u |
| 9 | 2.00x | LOST | 256.00u | 0.00u |
Eight straight wins would have built this roll up to 256.00u on paper. None of it was ever cashed out — so the loss on leg 9 doesn’t cost 256u, it costs exactly what the roll was ever actually staked: the original 1.00u. That gap — between what a roll looks like it’s worth and what you actually walk away with if you never cash out — is the entire risk of this strategy in one example. (Illustrative odds of reaching 8 straight wins at ~evens: ~0.39%.)
The real risk behind each strategy
- •Parlay Roll carries extreme, all-or-nothing risk. A single loss, at any point in the chain, wipes out everything accumulated in that roll — not just the profit, but the original stake it started with.
- •The longer a roll runs, the lower the odds it survives. This is the same math already explained on our AI Bet Generator page: chaining more legs together — where every single leg has to land — means the combined probability of the whole chain drops fast, even when each individual pick is a good, high-probability selection on its own.
- •Flat Betting doesn’t remove the risk of losing — it just spreads it out evenly and predictably, without the “all or nothing” exposure of Parlay Roll.
- •No staking strategy changes the real probability of any individual pick. It only changes how the risk is distributed over time. Choosing that trade-off — and living with the result — is on you, not a profit guarantee from OddsFactory AI.
